Lillee Jean is best known for her award-winning celebrity talk show Lillee Jean TALKS! Her outstanding contributions to the entertainment sector were recognized when she received a Special Achievement Honoree award in the Entertainment and Lifestyle News category at The TASTE AWARDS. Slated for 2026 filming, Trueman signed on to direct the highly anticipated book-to-TV series "Write to Kill," adapted from the novel by David P. Perlmutter. The series, where Trueman is Executive Producer as well, will be filmed in iconic locations across London and New York.
Trueman has trained at the prominent T. Schreiber Studio in New York City, extensively studying the Meisner Technique with Nicolas Landry, and various British dialects with Page Clements. She was also trained by Hollywood actors Michel Corbiere and Edgardo Rubio, to perfect her natural comedic talent and wide range of voiceover skills. To refine her delicate and airy voice, she underwent training at the Liz Caplan Vocal Studio with Sheela Ramesh.
Born and raised in New York City, Lillee Jean is Ashkenazi Jewish and Lutheran, with a strong European ethnicity that spans Russia, Ukraine, France, England, and Germany.
Her ancestors immigrated to the United States from Europe at the turn of the century. Her mother, Laura Rene Marks-Trueman, is her manager. Trueman's prior background includes supplying props to studios as a prop runner for studios such as Warner Bros. and Paramount Pictures. Her work includes Mad Men, the Men in Black trilogy, Public Enemies, Gotham, and The Alienist. Diamond Earl Trueman, Lillee Jean's father, had a notable career in the music industry. As a drummer, his band was signed to RCA Records before the Vietnam War ultimately led to its breakup. Trueman continued to play throughout the 1970s and '80s as a session drummer. His family also has roots in entertainment, as his uncle, William Wadsworth "Bill" Zielor, was a prominent figure who managed the J. P. Harris Downtown Theatre, Century Theatre, and was a Universal Artists Executive.

Additional to training at the T. Schreiber Studio, she diligently training with skilled, well-known actor Edgardo Rubio (known for (1995), Freedom Flight (2005), and My Lucky Day (1998), and talented Hollywood actor Michel Corbiere (known for Shut Up and Do It! (2007), A Show of Force (1990), and Cristina Bazán (1978) one-on-one.
Dedicated to her craft, she further trained at the Liz Caplan Vocal Studios to develop her operatic ability and pinpoint her classical style, and is trained in ballet, jazz, and modern dance due to numerous productions.

The Trapper Trap is produced by Lillee Jean (The Gilded Age, The Trapper Trap, FNL Network Talk Show, The Chorus in Our Eyes, Lillee Jean TAKS! Live), Laura Rene Marks-Trueman (prop runner/art department: Mad Men, The Alienist, Public Enemies, Men In Black trilogy), and Oscar Benjamin (BTS photography/art department: Swing State, Six Gun Savior, Psychophonia and, Cabaret of the Dead.)

Lillee Jean Career Beginning:
Lillee Jean's love for acting and film started early when she made stop-motion films featuring her American Girl dolls. She not only wrote detailed character sketches and storylines at 10 years old, but also directed, voiced, and produced these films.
While in school, she participated in several performances, including notable productions like the Nutcracker and a Wizard of Oz-themed show. By the age of 16, while auditioning for roles, she elevated her skills in writing, acting, and directing, and published 'Women's Makeup Throughout History (2017)', which delves into the history of women's makeup. This was followed by an educational short film on plastic straws titled 'No to Plastic Straws (2018)'.
