Lillee Jean Trueman, professionally known as Lillee Jean, is a multi-award-winning director, actor, writer, and producer based in New York and Los Angeles.
Trained at the prestigious T. Schreiber Studio in New York City, she studied the Meisner Technique under Nicolas Kane Landry and refined her craft with British RP dialect studies under Page Clements. A disciplined multi-hyphenate with a signature high-fidelity directorial style blending noir aesthetics and naturalism, Trueman has built an impressive body of work since her 2015 industry debut.
She serves as the producer, and director of the award-winning celebrity talk show Lillee Jean TALKS! Live, which has featured exclusive interviews with Hollywood veterans including Don Most, John Callas, and Charlie “Chick” Allan. Her 2024 forensic documentary Project: Bullyish earned Best Documentary Feature at the KIIFF Film Festival in California and additional documentary honors on the international circuit.
