The release follows recent accolades for her micro-short drama-thriller The Mission is Complete, Angelique (U.S. Copyright Office registration PA0002559617), which she wrote, directed, produced, and starred in. Filmed on a micro-budget in New York City, the fast-paced, performance-driven film explores a sophisticated woman named Angelique on a secret rendezvous, delivering raw emotion and high-impact storytelling. She has, since September, scored two more wins for the film, reaching a global West Asian market reach, with Nandan, Kolkata's government-sponsored film and cultural hub, solidifying the global splendor of Trueman's film. These wins include Best Director and Best Short Film recognitions.
Throughout the Summer of 2025, into early October, Trueman's acclaimed viral documentary, Project Bullyish, has continued to have a significant social impact and success, screening abroad in France.

Who Is Lillee Jean Trueman?
Lillee Jean Trueman is a multi-award-winning actress, filmmaker, director, writer, and producer based in New York City. As a prominent talent in the entertainment industry since 2015, she brings a distinctive vision to independent film and television, blending raw emotion, with high-impact storytelling.
Trueman is best known for her two-time award-winning celebrity talk show Lillee Jean TALKS! Live, which has earned honors such as Best Series and indie festival recognitions for its exclusive interviews with Hollywood legends like Don Most and Chick Allan. Her on-screen presence shines in HBO's acclaimed period drama The Gilded Age Season 3 (HeyDay Productions / Lionsgate Great Point Studios), where she contributed to the lavish, historical ensemble production filmed at iconic New York locations, including Great Point Studios.
A classically trained actress, Trueman honed her craft at New York City's prestigious T.
