Lillee Jean Best Acting Mention Athens International Monthly Art Film Festival

Lillee Jean Trueman has been awarded an Honorable Mention for Best Acting at the Athens International Monthly Art Film Festival (October 2024). 

Trueman’s portrayal of the spirited Deborah Shine, in the indie production The Chorus in Our Eyes. was selected for this international honor, leading to an official screening in Athens, Greece, in January 2025.

As the producer and lead actress, Trueman crafted the character of Miss Shine to explore a truly unpredictable and kaleidoscopic range of human emotions, set against the iconic backdrop of New York's Central Park.

This Greek directorial recognition further solidifies Trueman’s 2024–2026 international festival run as a versatile auteur in the romantic comedy genre.
