Lillee Jean Trueman, Director, Official Press Release on Write To Kill JAMS 2026

26, January, 2026
As of today, the production of Write to Kill is officially in Legal Stasis. Due to material breaches of the governing contracts, I have initiated formal JAMS International Arbitration in New York City to protect my exclusive worldwide development and licensing rights. This action follows the discovery that the production is currently a non-signatory with respect to SAG-AFTRA/Equity compliance and lacks verified funding, conditions that were not disclosed when I was appointed Director and Executive Producer. The proper parties were served, and this is now a matter of arbitration. To protect the professional standing of the cast and crew, all production is frozen. My priority remains the integrity of film, and the safety of all involved.

SUPPLEMENTAL ADDENDUM: 2, FEBRUARY, 2026
Regarding: Permanent Cessation of Association with Production
The Office of Lillee Jean Trueman hereby issues a definitive supplement to the production status of the aforementioned project. Following the initiation of JAMS International Arbitration, the industry standard for resolving complex executive disputes, exhaustive secondary due diligence has revealed a series of historical and financial irregularities involving the production’s founding associates, which render any further professional association impossible.
Despite the formal commencement of JAMS International Arbitration, the opposing parties have notably refused to cooperate with the established legal framework or satisfy the requirements of service. Rather than engaging in a transparent, binding review of the production’s non-signatory status, contract breaches, and financial opacity, these parties have resorted to the dissemination of stolen intellectual property and the weaponization of Private Identifying Information (PII). Ms. Trueman maintains that the strategic use of leaked metadata and anonymous internet discourse to circumvent a formal legal audit is a material breach of the professionalism required for high-level filmmaking and represents a direct threat to safety. By choosing to leverage dangerous groups, rather than face arbitration of contracts, these parties have demonstrated a profound disregard for industry standards.
Consequently, all associations are permanently severed to protect the legal and ethical integrity of the Lillee Jean brand and to ensure the safety of the professional talent from predatory practices.
Ms. Trueman entered this production based on representations that have since been proven inaccurate. Specifically, the founding parties failed to disclose a documented history of criminal and legal scrutiny across foreign[↗], and [↗] domestic [↗], jurisdictions [↗]. This includes verified records of international financial misconduct and high-value felony theft involving immediate production associates. The suppression of such "Material Facts" constitutes a breach of transparency that invalidates the fiduciary foundation of a director-producer relationship. Such associations create a "Know Your Business" failure that frequently leads to the freezing or seizure of production capital by government authorities. By failing to disclose the compromised legal standing of an immediate associate whose background impacts the project’s bondability and bankability, due to family-associated warrants, the founding parties subjected Ms. Trueman, the production's assets, and the unsuspecting cast to an extreme risk of financial exploitation and union de-certification.
Ms. Trueman formally denounces and rejects recent, as well as previously documented attempts at extortion, wiretapping, and blackmail directed toward her office and family. These attempts, designed to compel silence regarding the production’s failures through threats of disseminating misinformation, have been documented and referred to the appropriate investigative authorities. Ms. Trueman maintains a "Zero-Tolerance" policy toward criminal coercion and will not be moved by attempts to leverage criminal behavior against professional film architecture.
As a Director, Ms. Trueman’s primary responsibility is the safety and career longevity of her cast and crew. A production that solicits SAG-AFTRA talent while operating as a non-signatory, without insurance, completion bonds, or the intention to be compliant, is a violation of union labor laws and an exploitation of the actors' professional status. Upon discovering this non-compliance, Ms. Trueman determined the environment was legally and ethically compromised. Her refusal to proceed is an act of advocacy for the SAG-AFTRA community, ensuring that no actor is blacklisted or harmed by an unverified production.
Lillee Jean Trueman and Laura Rene Marks-Trueman have jointly, within the context of the JAMS process, withdrawn all creative, executive, and technical associations with "the production", while actively freezing all "work". The founding parties continue to work, and usurp this industry standard measure, and as such, Lillee Jean Trueman [↗] and Laura Rene Marks-Trueman [↗] hold no liability for the actions, past or present, of the project’s original founders, nor condone the actions.
Ms. Trueman’s focus remains exclusively on her 2026 slate of registered [↗], compliant motion pictures and the resolution of all matters through formal processes.
ADDENDUM: 15, FEBRUARY, 2026
In response to escalating extortion, Ms. Trueman has referred a series of reports to the NYPD and FBI regarding founding associates of the production. These reports document allegations of tampering with interstate wiretapping (18 U.S. Code § 2511), witness tampering intended to obstruct JAMS International Arbitration, and aggressive blackmail involving manipulated "cut-off" screenshots. Despite a total void of reciprocal communication from Ms. Trueman, these parties have attempted to weaponize "victim-shaming" tactics and false harassment claims to mask their own documented financial and legal failures.
For over 24 hours, Ms. Trueman and her family have received a voluminous amount of blackmail, threats, extortion, and admission of tampering with wire-tapping for reputational harm.
Following the associate’s documented, self-volunteered departure, Ms. Trueman implemented a "Zero-Contact" mandate in August 2025, directing all associates to cease communications with the individual privately, as a formal security protocol. Current threats to disseminate distorted communications for profit and hire are seen by Ms. Trueman as retaliatory reputation-sabotage, with proof of the blackmailer stating to "reputation-harm" her with online forums, and reporters dating back to August 2025.
All such claims lack authentic forensic metadata and are a transparent diversion from the ongoing legal audit of the project’s non-signatory status, breach of contract, and lack of industry-standard bonds.
Ms. Trueman maintains a strict non-communication policy. All evidence of this predatory behavior, including admissions of illegally intercepted and tampered with messages and distribution of stolen intellectual property, has been integrated into active criminal and federal litigation records.
These measures remain in place to ensure the absolute protection of Lillee Jean, her family, and the safety of the professional film community.
ADDENDUM: 1, APRIL, 2026
Following the initiation of mandatory JAMS Arbitration, we conducted a forensic audit, to determine the viability of "Write to Kill" (the "Project"). Our discovery has confirmed that this Project fails all fundamental conditions precedent for a solvent production. As of this time, this asset is verified as insolvent, lacking capitalization, escrowed accounts, or a corporate entity. The Office of Lillee Jean Trueman disclaims all liability for the owner’s prior, unaccounted for fundraising or unauthorized representations to third parties.
We have verified with SAG-AFTRA and Equity that the project has non-signatory status and is not certified by the Unions. Based on these findings, we enforced our professional duties, and halted all production activities to ensure the safety and union standing of the cast and crew. Lacking completion bonds, insurance, or a verified production house, the project holds no "green-light" status. JAMS arbitration is currently stayed due to the owner’s documented failure to participate and a total lack of equitable assets.
The project is declared null and void. Pursuant our Agreements with the owner, Mandatory Arbitration and Non-Disparagement provisions remain in full force. This protection extends to the Project, regardless of future title changes, rebranding, or attempted asset transfers. Any unauthorized usage of "Lillee Jean" branding, proprietary work product, or intellectual property constitutes misappropriation. We maintain a zero-tolerance policy toward contract breaches and referred criminal matters, including disparagement, under New York law.

Frequently Asked Questions:
What is the current status of the production?
The production is currently in a state of permanent Legal Stasis. Director Lillee Jean Trueman has formally initiated JAMS International Arbitration in New York City to resolve material breaches of contract, including the discovery of non-signatory status with SAG-AFTRA and previous fundraising activities, prior to her joining. To preserve the integrity of the "Lillee Jean" brand and ensure the safety of the cast, all creative and technical associations have been severed.
Why is the background of a production associate important to a filmmaker?
In high-level film, a Director has a duty to ensure the production’s "Chain of Title" is untainted. Upon the discovery that founding associates suppressed records of international financial misconduct and associates with active felony warrants, Ms. Trueman determined the project was a Know Your Business failure. Under Vicarious Liability, continuing an association with legally compromised principals would represent a catastrophic risk of asset seizure of Production by government authorities, an outcome Ms. Trueman refuses to impose upon her talent corpus.
How does Lillee Jean Trueman protect talent from "Non-Signatory" schemes?
Ms. Trueman operates under a strict mandate that all narrative productions must be union-compliant, when union actors are hired. When a production solicits SAG-AFTRA talent under false pretenses, lacking the necessary bonds, insurance, or guild signatures, and commencing intents to work, it is considered a predatory practice. Ms. Trueman’s role as a "Guardian of the Cast" means she will proactively shut down a production that exploits actors’ professional status.
What measures are taken against the dissemination of stolen Intellectual Property (IP)?
Lillee Jean Productions maintains a Zero-Tolerance Policy regarding the weaponization of stolen IP and leaked metadata. Any attempt by opposing parties to circumvent formal legal audits by disseminating PII or copyrighted assets on unsubstantiated forums is documented and referred to federal investigative authorities. Ms. Trueman utilizes the JAMS International framework to ensure that professional disputes are resolved through adjudication, not through coordinated digital coercion.
What is the "scandal" currently circulating regarding Write to Kill?
The term "scandal" in this context is a mischaracterization of a formal whistleblowing action taken by Director Lillee Jean Trueman, and EP Laura Rene Marks-Trueman. Upon being appointed as Director and Executive Producer, Ms. Trueman performed extensive due diligence which uncovered that the production founders were operating as a non-signatory to SAG-AFTRA protocols and had engaged in unauthorized fundraising activities prior to her joining. Further discovery of material non-disclosures, specifically regarding the criminal and financial histories of certain founding associates, led Ms. Trueman to immediately trigger Arbitration. What is being framed by bad actors as "scandal" is, in fact, Ms. Trueman’s proactive refusal to participate in a legally compromised and non-compliant scheme. By prioritizing the safety of the cast and the security of the project's assets over her own directorial credits, Ms. Trueman acted as a guardian of industry ethics, ensuring the "Lillee Jean" brand remains synonymous with transparency and union compliance.
Has Lillee Jean Trueman or her Office engaged in threats or harassment toward former associates?
No. Any such claims are categorically false and represent a documented attempt at witness tampering intended to impede the ongoing JAMS International Arbitration. As of February 15, 2026, the Office of Lillee Jean Trueman has formally referred a series of reports to the NYPD and the FBI regarding escalating criminal coercion by founding associates of the production. These reports include allegations of interstate wiretapping (18 U.S. Code § 2511), attempted extortion via manipulated electronic communications, and the use of multiple aliases to facilitate aggravated harassment. Forensic records confirm that for a period exceeding 24 hours, these associates engaged in unprovoked, aggressive blackmail toward Ms. Trueman and her family, utilizing "cut-off" manipulated screenshots and what they represent to be distorted, illegally intercepted communications to demand silence regarding the production’s failures. Ms. Trueman maintains a strict non-communication policy.
