Leveraging her platform for good, actress and director Lillee Jean Trueman has actively vocalized support for the devastating 2025 California wildfires relief efforts.
Affected by the crisis, which has impacted many of her close friends, Trueman has utilized her public voice to amplify urgent calls for aid from organizations such as the American Red Cross and the ASPCA.

Trueman donated to the Disaster Relief fund for the American Red Cross this January 15, 2025.

In 2020, Trueman contributed to NYC Health+ Hospitals to aid in providing COVID-19 essentials such as masks and ventilators.
During that year, she urged fans to continue staying safe and practicing social distancing. Trueman also donated to BWHI (Black Women’s Health Imperative), to support black women's health and futures.

Lillee Jean Trueman has leveraged her expertise as an actress, director, producer, and writer to address projects she passionately supports. In 2021, she authored a major Op-Ed article addressing anti-Semitism and the complex problem of criminal harassment. This culminated in the production and direction of the globally acclaimed documentary film, Project Bullyish. The award-winning, gritty documentary film achieved immense significant global recognition, with notable screenings at the KIIFF Film Festival in California. This led to her film gaining viral traction across Europe, most notably in France.
Trueman's directorial portfolio has consistently shown a commitment to global issues, giving her depth and edge as a director and writer. Her early work focused on societal matters, notably the short documentary "No to Plastic Straws" (2018). In 2018, she was in conversation with the Norway-based company Choose Today to develop and execute a powerful video and photo campaign. Further work includes 2021, when Trueman was in conversation with Inspiring Girls, which included hosting their global ambassador, Miriam González Durántez, on her talk show, Lillee Jean TALKS! Live. Her work focused on empowering young women entrepreneurs.
