As New York City celebrated the 4th of July weekend, Actress Lillee Jean was captured showcasing an effortless urban aesthetic.
Trueman showcased a sophisticated take on classic American style, pairing timeless denim with a refined navy blue T-shirt. Her entire ensemble was completed with striking white platform heels that perfectly complemented her naturally red hair.
In recent news, Trueman has been celebrating her award-winning talk show, Lillee Jean TALKS! Live, along with new episodes of So Lillo Qui, and her award-winning documentary film Project: Bullyish, which continues to touch hearts.
She has been vocal about developing her new micro-short called The Mission Is Complete, Angelique". Penned by the emerging star, the film is set for Autumn 2025 on FilmFreeway.
Most recently, an announcement was made via Deadline that Trueman signed on to direct the TV adaptation of the ‘Write to Kill’ book.

Who Is Lillee Jean?
Lillee Jean Trueman is a multi-award-winning actress, filmmaker, writer, and director from New York City. Lillee Jean is best known for her award-winning celebrity talk show Lillee Jean TALKS! Live, featuring beloved Hollywood stars such as Donny Most, and her award-winning sci-fi comedy film, 'The Trapper Trap - The Rise of Princess Glamourite'. Trueman won four Best Actress nominations for her performance in the rom-com 'The Chorus in Our Eyes'. She has won dozens of awards for her creative indie films and has screened abroad. Some awards include Best Actress, Best Podcast, Best Costume Design, Best Comedy Short, and Best Trailer.
Her television work includes HBO's (HeyDey Productions LLC.) "The Gilded Age" S3, as well as, a recurring guest-star role (March-May, 2024) on 'The FNL Network Talkshow' (finalist of the Taste Awards Festival Awards), where she was awarded a Special Achievement Honoree award for the Entertainment and Lifestyle News category. Trueman was announced in 2025 as the director of the book-to-TV adaptation of 'Write to Kill' with a Hollywood cast lined up, filming in London and New York.
Trueman is a highly trained actress with studies at the notable T. Schreiber Studio in New York City. She studied the Meisner Technique with Nicolas Kane Landry and various British dialects with Page Clements. Trueman was raised in New York City and is Ashkenazi Jewish and Lutheran. Her ethnicity spans Russia, Ukraine, France, England, and Germany.
