Lillee Jean's Micro-Short Film, The Mission is Complete, Angelique, Honored as Finalist

New York, NY, July 17, 2025 - New York City actress, director, writer, and filmmaker Lillee Jean Trueman has won an award for her micro-short film, The Mission is Complete, Angelique. She has been named a Finalist at the Silverlens Film Awards in Bengaluru, India.

The newest award celebrates the indie film's artistic merit and unique storytelling, further solidifying Trueman's standing as a voice in independent cinema. "I'm absolutely humbled and honored to announce that my work...has been recognized at the Silverlens Film Awards in India," said Lillee Jean Trueman. "Being named a Finalist is a profound professional milestone, and I am so proud of this micro-short. From the color, sounds, and vibrant visuals, this pushed me as an actress, but also as the director and writer of the project."

The film is set to travel on the global film festival circuit on FilmFreeWay with screenings scheduled from Summer to Autumn 2025.
