A quick note for my fans! My team and I have been sent some of the strange rumors and "plots" circulating recently. Honestly, just like so many actors and filmmakers in our industry face, third-party noise can get pretty surreal! From deepfakes to "where is Lillee Jean" with "missing" hoaxes. To set the record straight: my personal life is completely separate from my public work. I have made it that way to protect those I love.

When I choose to share, it truly does mean something, and I want to bring that love to the world. Choosing to direct my energy quietly behind the camera through writing, directing, photographing (so much more coming for ’26/’27!), and executing my narrative film slates, is simply a deliberate choice as I wrap up the ’25/’26 rollout.

All entertainers in the industry need that time away from the spotlight to grow, care for themselves, and be able to roll out even more amazing work! Real film production takes deep focus, fire, and continuous training. That is why I've been actively honing my craft and expanding my technical studies to keep elevating my work, as noted in my recent press release. I want to continue being a better person, and continue to improve.

I am so grateful for my fans who truly get the creative process and support the growth. Huge things are in motion at Lillee Jean Productions, and for me personally.

I see you guys, I see your support, and I love you all so much! Please disregard any of the bizarre third-party noise out there, including the harassing deepfakes (audio, video, photos) that are quite a horrid strike against women. They have been reported to the proper authorities, once again, for proper investigation.

I appreciate all concern, and this is unfortunately how misinformation aids these hoaxes online, and sadly upsets fans. We keep our eyes on what’s real, though, here. The 2025–2026 slate is wrapping up soon, and there is so much to come!! I’ve been working so hard behind the scenes to bring you thoughtful, amazing indie film productions. They are targeted, degrading harassment against women. In both 2024 and 2026, highly explicit generations involving my likeness have been unlawfully traded and distributed....Official productions, including The Trapper Trap (ARCHIVED), Project: Bullyish (AT FESTIVALS), and Roxie (ARCHIVED), feature custom watermark overlays and embedded cryptographic metadata. Official Lillee Jean Biography

Lillee Jean (Lillee Jean Trueman) is a New York City-born actress, award-winning director, and filmmaker defined by raw, performance-driven dramatic range and gritty visual narratives.

Her dramatic pedigree is rooted in training at NYC’s prestigious T. Schreiber Studio (Meisner Technique, British Dialects) and vocal training at the Liz Caplan Vocal Studio. Her versatile range spans classical theater to contemporary on-camera realism, supplemented by on-set television experience including HBO's The Gilded Age (Season 3) and a recurring guest-star role on The FNL Network Talkshow. An elite indie auteur, she wrote, directed, and starred in the internationally acclaimed drama-thriller micro-short The Mission is Complete, Angelique, capturing Best Actress and Best Director honors.

She is best known for producing the celebrity series Lillee Jean TALKS! Live, featuring Hollywood’s Don Most and Emmy-nominee John Callas, and directing the gritty investigative documentary feature Project Bullyish, which won Best Documentary Feature at KIIFF (Beverly Hills), achieving viral resonance in France. Her craft is bolstered by studies with CalArts Extended Studies (Filmmaking), the University of Cambridge (Professional and Continuing Education) (Shakespeare), The Museum of Modern Art (MoMA), and a Microsoft Security certificate, with early Environmental CTE studies underpinning her STEM-driven production approach.

Of Russian, French, and Ashkenazi Jewish heritage, she represents a formidable, multi-generational industry legacy. She was raised on major studio sets by her mother, veteran Hollywood prop buyer and runner, Laura Rene Marks-Trueman (Public Enemies, Mad Men, Men in Black trilogy).
