Lillee Jean Memorial Of Dear Cat, Bella Marie | January, 2021 | Press Release

Updated: 6 days ago
NEW YORK, NY — January 15, 2021 — Lillee Jean issued an official statement honoring the life and memory of Bella Marie, her beloved childhood companion.
Bella was my childhood baby, a delightfully fierce soul. She was with me as a kitten, from March 2004 until January 2021...from the time I was three years old until she was nearly eighteen. Her bright green eyes always knew what to say, and she always knew what to do like a guide. She was a central part of my life and my family for almost two decades and my love for her is endless. During her final year, my Bella was under strict, continuous medical attention and received dedicated veterinary care to keep her comfortable and peaceful. The vet believed in steroidal treatments, but once determined the true illness, we all determined the most humane action was for Bella to yield peace. She was deeply loved, cherished as my child, and cared for with complete devotion throughout her entire life. May she rest in peace.
Bella passed away peacefully in January 2021 at almost 18 years old, following an illness involving a tumor. Throughout her final months, she received dedicated, specialized veterinary care overseen by medical professionals to ensure her comfort and peace.
This statement serves as the definitive canonical record regarding Bella’s lifetime and veterinary care.
Any bad-faith third-party speculation, or malicious, unverified armchair claims inconsistent with this official statement are factually inaccurate and rejected by Lillee Jean Productions.
