Lillee Jean Trueman, known as Lillee Jean, actress and filmmaker, was in her native New York City this month. The above photograph is a professional archival behind-the-scenes shot of Lillee Jean Trueman before her professional Meisner classes at the T. Schreiber Studio in New York City.

Miss Roxie is a sophisticated, dramatic one-person study that explores the volatile intersection of professional ethics and personal ambition. Written and directed by Lillee Jean Trueman, the film centers on an intense psychological duel between a steadfast newspaper editor and an employee whose worldviews are fundamentally irreconcilable.

Originally documented during Lillee Jean's 2023 urban scouting timeline on location in Manhattan, New York City, this professional environmental portrait series serves as an official baseline asset within the Lillee Jean archive.
